Scope

This policy covers only data processing carried out on the jobaffinity.com website (forms, downloads, webinars, cookies, statistics). It does not include the JobAffinity software (dedicated policy).

The complete identity of the controller can be found in our Legal Notice.

Data collected on the website

Forms (contact, demo, webinar, download): first name, last name, email, phone, company, position, message content.

Navigation / audience measurement: pages viewed, actions taken, cookie identifiers, browser type, the page you arrived from.

IP address: it is used in two situations. First by Vercel, the company that hosts this website, to keep it running and protect it from attacks. This information is never used to analyse your browsing. Then by Google Analytics, just long enough to work out your approximate region: your IP address is neither recorded nor kept there. Plausible and Vercel Analytics do not keep your IP address either.

Where your visit came from: if you arrive from an advertisement or a search engine, the campaign parameters in the address (utm_source, utm_medium, gclid, msclkid) and the site you came from are kept in your browser for 90 days. They travel with your message if you fill in a form, so that we know which marketing activity brought you here.

Newsletter / prospecting: email, preferences.

Purposes and legal bases

Response to form requests: legitimate interest or pre-contractual measures.

Organization of webinars / sending resources: execution of a requested service.

Prospecting (newsletter, events): consent (opt-in) or B2B legitimate interest depending on the channel.

Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4, Plausible, Vercel Analytics): consent for non-essential trackers, legitimate interest for measurements that use neither cookies nor identifiers.

Marketing campaign attribution (where your visit came from): legitimate interest, to measure our marketing activities.

Website security: legitimate interest.

Subprocessors (website)

Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC), loaded through Google Tag Manager: audience measurement. Only activated if you accept it, denied by default. Google Analytics does not record IP addresses. Your data may be transferred to the United States, within a legal framework approved by the European Commission (standard contractual clauses and the Data Privacy Framework).

Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia): cookieless audience measurement. The data stays hosted in the European Union and nothing is stored on your device.

Vercel Analytics (Vercel Inc.): page traffic and performance measurement, with no cookie and no advertising identifier.

HubSpot (HubSpot Ireland / HubSpot, Inc.): contact forms and follow-up of your requests. Your data may be transferred outside the European Union, framed by standard contractual clauses.

Vercel (Vercel Inc.): website hosting. Pages are served to you from servers located in France (Paris). To keep the site running and protect it, Vercel temporarily records your IP address and a few technical details about your browser. Transfers outside the European Union are framed by standard contractual clauses.

Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.): protection of the forms against bots. Loaded only on pages with a form, it analyses a few technical signals from your browser (including the IP address) to check that a human is sending the form. No advertising or audience measurement cookie. Transfers outside the European Union are framed by standard contractual clauses and the Data Privacy Framework.

This list covers the jobaffinity.com website only. The JobAffinity software is hosted by Scaleway, in France, and is covered by its own dedicated policy.

Recipients

Access limited to authorized internal teams (marketing, sales, support) and our processors above, bound by GDPR-compliant contracts.

Retention periods (principles)

Prospects / forms: up to 3 years after last contact.

Newsletter: until consent withdrawal (unsubscription).

Webinars / downloads: 3 years after last exchange.

Cookies: how long they last depends on what they do. See the Cookies and trackers section for details.

Cookies and trackers

When you arrive on the site, a banner lets you accept, refuse or choose which non-essential cookies to allow. Until you accept, no cookie-based audience measurement is activated. You can change your mind at any time from the "Manage cookies" link in the footer.

How long do these cookies last?

Your cookie choice: kept in your browser until you change it or clear your browsing data. Its only purpose is to avoid asking for your consent on every visit.

Audience measurement (Google Analytics): 2 years. These cookies tell us which pages are viewed, never who you are. Only set after you accept, and deleted if you withdraw your consent. (_ga, _ga_*)

Contact form (HubSpot): from 30 minutes to 6 months depending on the cookie. They link your message to your visit. (hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, __hssrc)

Job-seeker request (JobAffinity): 30 days. If you told us in a form that you are looking for a job, this technical cookie remembers it, so that our sales team does not call you back as a company. (ja_cand)

Where your visit came from: 90 days. This information is kept in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, then sent along with your forms. (jobaffinity_utm_params)

Cookieless audience measurement: Plausible and Vercel Analytics store nothing on your device.

Advertising: this site sets no advertising cookies.

The information collected by these cookies is not kept for more than 25 months.
